History - It started with a simple dream: boost the fortunes of the little fishing and retirement village known as Hudson. So in 1984, Al and Kathy Meyer, King and Beverly Helie, along with Ron and Judy Vincent got togther and decided to have a seafood festival…and Hudson Seafest was born.

It's been a bumpy road, and often chaotic, but Hudson Seafest gets better year after year. This year is no exception. Our web site has unergone a small makeover to make it easier for you to browse around. Take a look at this year's events, sponsors and entertainment line-up…and don't miss our new KidZone: a fenced-in area, guarded and secure, with lots of fun activities and entertainment just for kids!

Concessions - Our concessions will be bigger and better than ever this year with fine artists and craftsmen from around the country displaying and selling their wares. We will also present the finest in Tampa Bay seafood from the best area restaurants and vendors from around the country, and of course, our famous Fish Dinner, sponsored by Withlacoochie River Electric Co-op.
